No free lunch in this world
I heard over the radio yest, saying abt some pple being conned of their $$ coz of a fake call saying that they hv won some lottery...well, actually i gt e call frm a china lady too, but well, i din fall for it...was too skeptical to believe that such gd things will happen to mi...well, i rem someone sd in a presentation b4 " if it seems to gd to b true, it is really too gd to b true" ...
Another fraud incident some time bk is a person who will fake v kelian and hungry asking for $$ to buy food. I gt encounter this b4...dunno y, i always bump onto weird pple or fraud pple...as for this, i din gif e person $$...well it is coz, i suggested buying e food for the person so i asked him wat he wan....but then he rejected saying that juz give him 10 bucks can le....so in my mind, i was tinking, it seems like u r nt v hungry...so i told him monotonously, im sry i dun hv so much $$ w mi....then i turn n proceed to e mrt station...
sometimes i dun understand y pple wan to act kelian, somemore big uncle lor, can go wrk liao le...well to mi, cheating others of $$ is nt a job lar....mayb they should hv go n take some finance courses...there is always a fixed rule in finance: "r&r"- risk and return...basically there is no free lunch in this world...u wan sthing, u hv to wrk hard for it....
however, one hv also try to strike a bal bet wrking hard and hving a life...feeling stressed recently...coz of e job interview on mon, of e endless proj research, meetings and tonnes of readings....oni taking 3 modules but e wrk doesnt seems to hv lessen...dunno y....hope that everything will go on rit....noe that might b meeting 97 pple nxt wk...but i seriously dunno if i will b available...buz buz buz...oh ya, i nid more pple to help mi fill up e survey for my proj...
