Pre-work jitters?
Surprisingly i still do not have e pre work jitters syndrome yet...maybe it will come sharp to me tml...do not really have any feelings towards e first day of work...maybe i know e challenge im into...and frankly i have no idea who else is gg into my company too...most of my closer smu friends went to where tian is now...and also partly coz i din bother to ask...
nothing really excited or what, juz as per normal since it is not e first day i worked...and think nothing can be more scary than my first part time job which was a credit assistant by the way, have to call up clients to "coax" them into paying their outstanding credit bills...a GREAT challenge for one who nv wrked b4, not to say experience in doing calling jobs and who is being classified as those more soft spoken one...still survived somehow, maybe almost suffocated by e stress initially but in e end i still came out intact to go through my 4 years of university...
next then will be internship...nothing can be more anxious than dat esp when i dun even know what to do but to be told on my first day of work that i will be sent to a client's place alone to perform a small audit alone when i dun even know how/wat is audit...no training, juz a past yr file for me to look through when some of it i dun even recall learning abt it during my audit class and even for those which i gt learned, it was nt of much use as we only knows wat it means but dunno which supporting documents shld we look at...guess one will eventually learn how to swim when being thrown at e deep blue sea unless he/she choose to drown instead...
so i guess it will be best to juz not think much abt it and put in my best for watever is coming up...no matter wat, still glad dat i managed to meet up w most of my friends which i hv not met for a pretty long time though it wld be best if yixin and co would hv arrange for a meeting up b4 my wrk commence...not too sure if we would be able to meet up this yr during me and another frenz in e gang's birthday which happens to be on e same day...well when it comes then say bar, perhaps can meet up?
nonetheless, wish me all e best for wrk k...good seniors, colleagues, managers etc etc etc...also MELVIN, enjoy your overseas exchange ya, yi lu shun feng wor...look forward to meeting up w many many JC mates and prob e full 97 gang tml ^_^
